Working with founders to support dreams
Amarimba L. Charles, founder of TALLOM Foundation, partnered with UX for Change to support her organization's growth and digital presence. TALLOM, which empowers young women in Brooklyn, was seeking specialized UX guidance to enhance its online outreach.
UX for Change, expanding to New York, organized a workshop with UX professionals to address TALLOM's digital challenges. The event, led by Kandis O’Brien, resulted in actionable strategies for improving the TALLOM website and its outreach efforts. Amarimba, initially uncertain, was inspired by the workshop's success, implementing 75% of the suggested changes.
The event marked the launch of UX for Change’s New York chapter and set the stage for future initiatives, illustrating the power of collaboration between impact-driven organizations and the UX community to drive positive change.
