We are UX for Change
Our Vision
A world where products and services are rooted in regenerative* practices.
*as opposed to extraction.
Our mission
To enable positive change in the world by connecting the purpose-driven sector with the UX community while championing
responsible design practices.
Our Values
Humanitarian
We actively promote human welfare and social reform.
April 2016 – Exploring the challenges faced by pregnant women in transit and at refugee camps, with the purpose of identifying life-threatening symptoms and the ultimate goal of saving lives.

Our Values
Reciprocal
We provide expertise to purpose-driven sectors and educate the UX community on key topics that drive positive change
Since 2015 – A project matching junior UX designers with DrawMyLife. The designers gain an opportunity to improve their skills and make a difference while raising awareness of the impact of war on children’s lives.
Our Values
Critical-Thinking
We challenge conventional thinking. Always.
October 2018 – Co-designing with people leaving care, finding creative ways to empower their transition into the labour market and take their first step towards independence.

Our Values
Regenerative
We aim to restore the wellbeing of our ecosystems and ourselves with our responsible design practices.
September 2024 – Addressing the lifelong challenges survivors of domestic violence face is Pillow’s mission. For this purpose driven start up, we hosted an in-person, trauma-informed event follow by a Responsible Design two months programme.
What makes UX for Change a reality is the endless dedication of our leadership teams. We are a diverse group of passionate individuals committed to bringing change to the world by volunteering our time to the UX for Change mission.
Our Global Leadership Team
“I founded UX for Change because I saw an opportunity to address the gap there is between the UX Design community and other sectors that are important to the future of our world”
Our Local Leadership Team
“ I have been deeply involved with the growth of the UX space from the evolution of a number of new roles and requirements to the ever-increasing skill shortage for talent with experience in the field.”
